Program Day Two
This was a much better day. My psychologist support person showed up today. We spent over 1 hour beginning the Intake process with one client. We got about ¾ of the way through. It was interesting to hear about his life. He is from a small village, a farming community.
Most of the day was spent with clients. It was fun. We did yoga, an art based group and play. We all left feeling good. It is a long day, but a good day.
Then we got home. We don’t have any translators scheduled for tomorrow. Guru Tereth and I work on scheduling for a few hours. Again, I am very tired. We are still learning to work together
There are two Gurdwaras (The Sikhs build temples wherever anything of historical/spiritual importance happened) in the immediate area. The primary medium of worship is Spiritual Music – Gurbani Kirtan. It is usually played from speakers into the countryside. Usually I really like it. I hear it when I take early morning walks through the farmland surrounding the house. I listen to it going to bed at night. Last night one of the Gurdwaras was playing their music so loud, I couldn’t believe it. They are at it again tonight. It’s like having a Spiritual Battle of the Bands.
