This tells the story of going to Amritsar, Punjab, India to set up a Drug treatment program that uses Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogai Bhajan, as the primary treatment modality. Gurucharan is a psychologist and teacher of Kundalini Yoga. This is his story. He travels with his wife, Carolyn (Karta Kaur). They begin in La Verne, CA USA and travel through Beijing and Bankok on their way to Amritsar.
Purchasing sweets to help one client celebrate a daughter's birthday and a 2nd client celebrate a Hindu festival day, normally spent with family. For now, the family is the clients and staff of the program. The mutual support is tangible.
